The Texas Instruments TPS16630RGER is a fanless step-down voltage converter designed to deliver highly efficient low-noise power to electronic devices and peripherals requiring a steady, load-independent 24Vage supply. Its integrated 3A DC/DC converter significantly reduces output ripple, allowing noise and EMI sensitive applications to benefit from greater efficiency. The TPS16630RGER also provides a low output ripple of 5mV peak to peak, wide input rage varying from 8V to 36V and an adjustable output voltage of 10V to 30V. It is fully protected against over-current, short-circuit and thermal shutdown conditions. The high switching frequency of 1.5MHz allows the TPS16630RGER to deliver a total efficiency up to 90% while still meeting stringent EMI requirements. This device is suitable for applications including home appliances, industrial control systems and automotive applications.
